Steampunk Roguelike RPG

1. Procedurally generated town-like levels with open spaces
2. Player character with health, attack, and experience points
3. Random monsters with varying strengths
4. Unique quest system with 95 different quests
5. Special quest-related enemies
6. Inn mechanic for healing and receiving new quests
7. Combat system with warnings for stronger enemies
8. Leveling system with random stat increases
9. Colorful, themed levels
10. Moving monsters that chase the player???
11. Doesn't work on some mobile devices.

How to Play Western Rogue α0.7:

1. Open the HTML file in a web browser to start the game.
2. You are the '@' symbol on the map. Use arrow keys to move.
3. Explore the maze-like level, avoiding or fighting monsters (colored symbols).
4. Find the stairs '>' to enter the inn, heal, and get a new quest.
5. Complete quests by defeating the special enemy for each quest.
6. Gain experience and level up to become stronger.
7. Don't sweat when attacking stronger enemies (you'll get a warning).
8. Try to survive as long as possible and complete as many quests as you can!
9. Collect them all.

Tips:

• Pay attention to your health and the unique qualities of your enemies.
• Use the inn strategically to heal and start new quests.
• Don't be afraid to run away from tough enemies.
• Keep an eye on your experience points to track when you'll level up.
• Each level has a unique color scheme - enjoy the variety!
• There's few ways to fail a quest.
